So to get your hands on the key you have to complete the three quests.

You have to first talk to some of the villagers and complete the tasks given to them. While progressing you will be able to get your hands on the location of Swordfish. However, the swordfish quest will end by killing him.

Now talking of the Collector according to Ardos you will find him at his house in Gortyn near red pillars. After finishing off the swordfish your next destination will be to meet the collector. Once you reach to meet him. He will tell you the story of how dangerous and deadly Minotaur is, and that you will be needing the Theseus’ armor. At this point, you can completely ignore the armor as the armor is not that effective. But if you do want then you can proceed to obtain it. This will not affect the objectives.

Talk to Collector

  • Talk to Ardos’ Caretaker

So the last on the list is Caretaker; Ardos will tell that he is supposed to meet him at Phaistos. However, you will not find him there and you will need to go to his home. There you will find out that he has been kidnapped by a cult of Kosmos. In order to free him the best way would be to sneak into the dark without alerting any of the guards. After freeing him you will get some information about the Labyrinth but not something helpful regarding the key.
