Witcher 3 Map: Details Regarding the Locations, Rewards & Findings
As we have said earlier the witcher 3 map is divided into several big and small areas. These places are fairly very far from each other and do require vehicles like sailboats, horseback to reach. However, sailboats and horseback can be used to travel through smaller areas but larger areas can not be traveled using these vehicles.
For example, Skellige isles and Novigrad are two of the larger areas which are far away in order to reach from one to another you need to use the Fast travel option. Also before you can use the fast travel you have to make sure to unlock at least one signpost in that zone. But a single signpost will not be enough and as you progress you will quite a few.
As you begin the game the very first open-world location in the game that you will encounter is White Orchard. You will be spending a few hours exploring, doing quests, and killing monsters here after that you will visit Royal Palace in Vizima and the journey and adventure will take you to all other places Velen, No Man’s Land, Novigrad, etc.
Each place you must have an objective or the purpose; you will spend a good enough time completing and searching for the witcher contracts along with the main story. You will be meeting some great characters, if you have played the previous Witcher games you will get to meet some characters from previous games as well. Once you finish the main storyline of the game you can still take witcher contracts and finish them.
