but As the title of this article says and you might already know that Mortal Kombat 11 Leaks are all over the internet but still if you’re unaware of this then we want you to know that right before Mortal Kombat 11 was released onto PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch, a slab of its DLC roster leaked. Let’s begin this article by letting you know about all the stuff which got leaked in recent days all in one place.
Mortal Kombat 11 Leaks & Characters Till Now
Now if we talk about the source of Mortal Kombat 11 Leaks then they came the way of the game’s files on Nintendo Switch and claimed that the game would be adding Shang Tsung, Joker, Nightwolf, Sindel, Terminator, Spawn, Ash Williams, Sheeva, and Fujin after launch. Since then, Shang Tsung has been released, and Nightwolf, Sindel, and Terminator have been announced, seemingly confirming the leak was indeed accurate in what it suggested.
Also sometimes leaks like this could be a huge scam, but in this case, LeoNatan, the data miner in question, has also provided step-by-step instructions for anyone with access to MK11 on the Switch to verify his findings, and sure enough, it has been verified by multiple independent sources.
Mortal Kombat 11 Characters Which Got Leaked
As you can see in the image above that the first DLC character is Shang Tsung which lines up with Netherrealm’s official announcements. It is also worth noting that Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, who has portrayed Shang Tsung in the Mortal Kombat-based movie is going to give his voice to him in the game.
Up next is Nightwolf who is a classic Mortal Kombat character that hasn’t had an active story role in many of the modern-day Mortal Combats. But still, after all this, he is a fan favorite and it’s obvious that some Mortal Kombat characters will make the roster as DLC as they can’t all be guest characters for all time.
Now there’s Terminator also which is going to be present in Mortal Kombat 11. If you don’t know about Terminator then he is a classic violent movie character that Mortal Kombat has a history of including as a guest character. After the name got leaked regarding the character then Mortal Kombat officially revealed this character what’s interesting here is that it is going to be a T-800 type which looks a lot like the terminator from the movies.
After those male characters now we have Sindel who is another classic MK female character who hasn’t had much time to shine in modern-day MK games. Other than that she was an extremely important character in the story of Mortal Kombat 3 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 is largely considered the best classic MK title by the MK fandom.
Up next is Joker, and while many of you might be excited about Persona 5’s Joker showing up in Smash, this is most likely the DC universe Joker, as a tie-in to Netherrealm’s Injustice series. As you might already know that Mortal Kombat DLC characters need to be a certain degree of violence. They need to be comfortable with being portrayed as being chopped up and gored and the Joker is probably one of the only DC characters that cross that threshold of violence.
Next, we have Spawn, a classic comic book character who hasn’t seen much video game representation since his guest appearance in Soul Calibur II. However, fans have been asking for a Spawn appearance in a Mortal Kombat game ever since it was clear that guest characters were an option. It’s nice to think that their wish was finally granted.
Some Other Mortal Kombat 11 Rumored Characters
It’s interesting to note that till now we have covered six DLC characters and but judging by these leaks, it appears as if a few DLC characters are stragglers. It’s possible that they will be offered individually as particularly special DLC characters or as guest characters, or just simply Netherrealm can be planning a Kombat Pack 2. However, there aren’t enough characters till now to fill out another six-character Kombat Pack during this time but still, here are some of the other rumored Mortal Kombat 11 characters.
The first one is Ash who is an interesting name to have on a DLC list because this name most likely refers to Ash Williams from the Evil Dead series which is further a classic gory action-horror schlockfest.
After Ash, we have Fujin who is a character that was integrated into the Mortal Kombat roster after the series went 3D post-Mortal Kombat 4. While he was never a fan-favorite character, we think that the story of Mortal Kombat 11 appears to focus on the gods more so than any other MK game. Fujin, being the god of wind and eventual protector of Earthrealm seems like a natural fit for the game’s other roster. If you’re unaware then it’s worth noting that also Fujin made appearances in MK9 and MKX but never as a playable character.
Lastly, we have Sheeva, who is another fan-favorite character and the only female Shokan to ever grace the game’s roster. Without Goro or Kintaro on the roster, she would be a fine representative of the Shokan race.
Now at the end of this article on all the Mortal Kombat 11 Leaks, we want to say that this list should be taken with a grain of salt because while it seems like this data is real and verifiable, Netherrealm has a history of including red herrings in their game code which we have seen a lot in the past.
Hence here we conclude our article on Mortal Kombat 11 Leaks, and we hope that you all love our work if you’ve got any ideas or thoughts on the ending then you can add them to the comments down below.
